Westview was built in Phase 2 of the Ready-to-Move Child Care Project as part of Manitoba’s Action Plan under Canada-Manitoba Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement. We opened our doors on November 4, 2024. This is the fourth location for Pembina Valley Child Care Centres Inc. We are licensed for 104 spaces for ages 12 weeks to 6 years old.
We have 3 infant rooms, which are each licensed for 8 children. Our infant rooms have a ratio of 1:4 and are classified as children from the age of 12 weeks to 2 years. We provide an enriched learning environment for infants by providing age-appropriate toys, books, activities, and songs.
We have 5 preschool rooms, which are each licensed for 16 children. Our preschool rooms have a ratio of 1:8 and are classified as children from the age of 2 to 6 years. We provide an age-appropriate learning environment including story time, science activities, art work, special community visitors, and gross motor activities.
We provide two snacks daily consisting of 3 food groups from Canada's Food Guide. We make accommodations for children with allergies or special snack requirements.
Wheelchair accessible and we accept children with additional support needs.
